Sharing what we have with others, whether our gifts feel large or small, is one of the core principles of our Christian faith: we welcome gifts of time, energy, skills, and finances. We share by
- welcoming: greeting those who arrive at Sunday service and ensuring that those who are new are familiar with how to find what they need
- supplementing the excellent music offered by Scott Drakeford on our piano by replacing him when necded (other instruments are welcome!) or sharing with additional song leadership or other instruments,
- leading in worship as a reader of scripture passages and prayers,
- reaching out to those who need support
- maintaining the beauty and liturgical seasonal worship through providing and maintaining flowers, candles, and altar cloths,
- collaborating and advocating with our partners in Parkdale and in the wider church community for justice, peace, and right relations,
- participating in planning and decision-making guidance,
- sharing our financial resources to sustain and grow the church and those beyond.
You can contribute by talking to staff or church members about what skills and time you would like to share, by contributing financially at Sunday worship, or by sending an online contribution or further questions to epiphanyandstmark@gmail.com
Steeple restoration: if you would like your contribution to be specifically designated for our restoration of the church steeple, which is both part of our history and a designated historical building, please name this on the “message” section of the e-transfer template.
